Consultas o dudas A technology supply operation in Guatemala created a new need: getting part of the goods to recipients in three neighboring countries. DLZ designed the end-to-end coordination.
Goods had to leave Guatemala, the corresponding sales or transfers had to be documented, and entry into each destination country had to be coordinated.
Although the countries are close, their commercial and customs obligations are not identical. The client needed coordination covering both the export at origin and the formalities and deliveries at destination.
The DLZ team prepared a commercial solution to coordinate exports from Guatemala to the three destinations. The process covered commercial documentation, export clearance, international transport and coordination with service providers at destination for import and delivery.
For each country, the parties’ responsibilities and the applicable requirements were defined according to the type of goods, with legally authorized importers and exporters involved where required.
